Job Summary
Senior Network/Security Analyst to support a 24/7 Enterprise IT helpdesk environment onsite at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT. Responsibilities include Tier 1-2 trouble analysis, configuring/managing network routing and switching (Linux and Windows), troubleshooting firewalls and devices, system administration tasks (user accounts, certificates, group policy), maintaining virtual environments (VMware/VSphere), patch management, and site installs/decomms. Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligibility), U.S. citizenship, STEM degree (or advanced degree) with relevant experience, and ability to work night/weekend/holiday shifts. Desirable experience with Windows Server/AD/DNS/GP, Linux bash, encryption devices, and familiarity with tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, MECM, Cisco Call Manager, BMC FootPrints, and Juniper/JSpace; location is onsite at the specified U.S. government facility with competitive benefits and salary range of 86,800 to 165,200 USD annually.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance required on day 1
- U.S. citizenship required; eligible for security clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP preferred) required on day 1
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience in an Enterprise IT environment
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy)
- Experience with networking fundamentals (OSI layers, IP addressing, sub-netting, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP)
- Willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain SCI after start; U.S. citizenship required
