Job Summary
Own and optimize enterprise load balancing and application delivery platforms, ensuring the availability, performance, and resiliency of critical business applications. Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex Layer 4–7 traffic management and application delivery issues, leading root-cause analysis and restoring service in high-availability production environments. Drive continuous improvement across F5, Citrix ADC, and VMware AVI platforms through automation, optimization, application onboarding, and operational excellence initiatives. Requires 8–10+ years in network engineering with expert-level hands-on experience in F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler, and VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer. Schedule is an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday in a remote role.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience
- 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- 2 years of leadership or management experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in network engineering
- significant focus on load balancing and application delivery
- Proven experience operating in large-scale, enterprise environments
- Expert-level hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP platform
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler / ADC
- Expert-level hands-on experience with VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI)
- Strong expertise in Layer 4–7 protocols (HTTP/S, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, DNS)
- Strong expertise in Load balancing methods, persistence, and traffic steering
- Strong expertise in SSL offloading and certificate management
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-tier application issues
- F5 certifications (CTS or higher)
- Citrix ADC certifications (CCA-N / CCP-N or higher)
- VMware NSX / AVI-related certifications
