Senior Network Installation Specialist

Job Summary
Lead complex network installation projects from survey and engineering through site implementation, overseeing field technicians and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Conduct physical onsite network surveys to determine engineering solutions, configure cryptographic, MPLS, and optical equipment, and perform troubleshooting to bring systems to a functional state. Direct preparation of site reports, diagrams, and VISIO drawings, while providing oversight for as-built configuration documentation and Completion Reports. Collaborate with project managers to translate requirements into comprehensive IT designs and assist in developing procedural documentation for field tasks. Maintain high installation standards by training and certifying team members, ensuring they remain current on required training and certifications. Requires 5+ years of experience, Secret clearance, and 90% travel capability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience as Implementation Engineer
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to travel 90% of the time on deployments for both CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in confined spaces (server closets, raised floors)
Desired Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in IT implementation and engineering using Army/DISA/DoW standards
- Proficient in system design, configuration, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security measures, and IT best practices
- Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise-level applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Visio
- Top Secret preferred
