Job Summary
Senior Network Engineer to join Iron Mountain's UK Secure IT organization, focusing on deploying and maintaining advanced Cisco-based networking infrastructure to support UK Government Sector engagements. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining data center networks, network segmentation, next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, and content delivery/load balancing; lifecycle and asset management across UK Secure Data Centers and field offices; leading project deployment plans, mentoring peers, and driving compliance and reporting on security and KPIs/KRIs. Requires UK citizenship and residency for the past five years and government security clearance. Remote work option is UK-based.
Required Qualifications
- UK citizenship and residency for the previous five consecutive years
- Security clearance (governmental)
- Deep Cisco networking expertise (ACI, Wireless, ISE)
- SD-WAN and Public Cloud Networking
- Experience with data center networking and advanced network technologies
- Content Delivery Platforms (F5, Riverbed)
- Lifecycle and asset management for network equipment
- Leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration
- Ability to produce KPI/KRI reports and communicate to senior leadership
