Job Summary
Senior Network Engineer to join QBE, LLC in Doral, FL, focusing on planning, designing, operating, and securing enterprise networks on classified environments (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS). Responsibilities include planning and maintaining connectivity of enterprise network assets, ensuring DISA STIG compliance, configuring and maintaining routers/switches/firewalls/IDS/IPS and Cisco ISE, supporting cross-domain service connections, collaborating with ISSOs and RMF stakeholders, and mentoring NOC staff. Requires deep technical expertise in Cisco technologies, STIG compliance, RMF/NIST frameworks, and DoD cyber standards; active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a field necessary to assume Network Engineer responsibilities
- Nine (9) or more years of experience, including five (5) or more years of relevant Network Engineer experience
- Current and active TS/SCI clearance
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and network security principles
- Experience configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (IOS, NX-OS) and security appliances (ASA, Cisco ISE)
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud networking concepts
- Experience securing classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS)
- Experience implementing DISA STIGs
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and RMF/NIST
- Knowledge of network access control and authentication mechanisms
- Ability to assess and mitigate network security risks
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
