Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Lead network design processes and manage existing networks for Foreign Military Sales programs, collaborating with U.S. Government engineers on setup and configuration. Analyze and administer technical architectures for Local Area and Wide Area Networks, while utilizing network engineering sandboxes to develop and integrate Cisco products. Deliver complex solution designs and investigate security products, focusing on the integration of management and monitoring platforms. Provide resolution for networking problems associated with C4ISR networks, serving as a subject matter expert to plan, distribute, and coordinate work assignments. Diagnose and restore service for data center infrastructure, document network designs, and perform site surveys and evaluations.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance
  • 7-10 years of Network Engineering experience
  • Proficient in Cisco network devices including switches, routers and firewalls
  • Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures utilizing Cisco products
  • Advance knowledge with TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN/mGRE
  • Experience using network Performance/Load testing tools (e.g., Spirent, T-Berd)
  • Must be able to diagnose and resolve network hardware and software problems associated with the data center infrastructure
  • Experience with documenting Network Designs
  • Experience performing site surveys/ PITCO evaluations on equipment and SOVts
  • Experience as a systems administrator for various operating systems
  • Experience with VMWare
  • Experience with COMSEC
  • Ability to create documents for use in training operations personnel
  • Active U.S. national security clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Active CCNP, CCNP Security, or CCIE
  • Skilled in implementing network security solutions including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security Tools like Splunk, Vectra Networks, Security Onion
  • Deep understanding of IPSEC and 802.1X
  • Familiarity with Virtualization platforms involving Network Function Virtualization and VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team building, staff training and scheduling
