Job Summary
Senior Network Engineer responsible for secure, HIPAA/HITRUST-aligned healthcare network infrastructures across multi-site environments. Focus on design, implementation, and management of enterprise networking including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and security automation; ensuring availability and security of hospital clinical, financial, and operational systems through zero-trust segmentation, 24/7 uptime, and thorough network documentation. Emphasizes collaboration, customer service, effective written/verbal communication, and alignment with department goals and patient-care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure
- Configure and maintain wired and wireless connectivity
- Design, install, and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
- Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST-aligned architecture
- Implement zero-trust architectures and segmentation
- Maintain infrastructure including servers, security appliances, telephony for 24/7 availability
- Lead deployment, monitoring, and support of hardware/software
- Create network diagrams and up-to-date documentation
- Onsite and remote IT infrastructure support
