Job Summary
Senior Network Engineer responsible for owning the design, engineering, lifecycle management and support of enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, wireless, WAN), leading implementation of voice/video/collaboration platforms, and driving modernization including cloud connectivity, zero trust, and automation. Will monitor and troubleshoot network performance with telemetry/logs/analytics, collaborate with security teams to strengthen defenses, coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver projects on schedule, maintain accurate documentation, and serve as an escalation point while mentoring junior staff. Participates in on-call rotation and provides leadership during critical incidents. Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA/CCNP; experience with Juniper switches and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or business-related field (may be waived in lieu of experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise networking experience with knowledge of routing, switching, and network design principles
- 2+ years of experience supporting voice and collaboration platforms such as Cisco UC, Microsoft Teams or similar technologies
- Experience with cloud or hybrid network environments
- Ability to analyze packet level traffic, and troubleshoot complex performance or security issues
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and deliver results across cross functional teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
- Customer focused mindset with a commitment to service quality and continuous improvement
