Job Summary
Deliver end-to-end network and security-driven solutions for trading systems, carrier networks, and data center environments. Collaborate with management and SMEs to identify network needs, determine suitable hardware and software, and adapt solutions to meet business unit requirements. Liaise with vendors and suppliers while contributing to documentation and knowledge bases. Be accountable for service delivery performance and driving future demand across critical infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the field of networking
- 3+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer specialized in delivery
- Experience in at least three of the following environments: DC networks, Security appliances (Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer, etc.), Cloud networks, Carrier networks
- Deep understanding of core network technologies (OSPF, BGP (eBGP and iBGP), MPBGP, MPLS, VxLAN, LDP, EVPN, etc.) and security technologies (Firewalling, Load Balancing, WAF, Proxy, SIEM)
- Proven experience implementing and operating F5 Load balancers (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM)
- Proven experience working with Global Cloud Providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, etc) and the technologies (VPCs, TG, DFw, LB, Direct Connect, etc)
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale networks and mission critical networks
- Extensive knowledge of the main network and security vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills in managing a wide variety of stakeholders including vendors, partners and suppliers
