Job Summary
Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage corporate office network infrastructure supporting Coupang’s global operations in Japan. This role ensures high availability, security, and scalability of network environments and collaborates with Security, IT Infrastructure, and End-User Technology teams. Key duties include designing, deploying, and supporting scalable and resilient network infrastructures; implementing and managing enterprise Wi‐Fi; managing WAN/SD‐WAN/LAN and network interconnectivity; proactively monitoring network health, troubleshooting performance issues, and providing site-level incident support; generating operational and performance reports; managing incident, change, and capacity planning; supporting office expansions, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades; and coordinating with Infrastructure, End-User Technology, and Unified Communications teams to ensure network reliability across all corporate locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and support
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSA, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and ISE
- Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls
- Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control
