Job Summary
Lead technical development and baseline refinement of fire control systems, including hardware and software change management and retrofit planning. Support GPS and PNT modernization and anti-jam and electronic-warfare resiliency integration into the fire control baseline while managing field artillery launcher systems and tactical radio configuration. Author governing technical documentation, enforce configuration control across distributed teams, and serve as senior liaison between engineering, the program office, and Government stakeholders. Support acquisition strategy, execution-model tradeoffs, and schedule alignment for the STORM Project Office at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Requires U.S. citizenship, active Secret clearance, and 8+ years in defense fire control systems.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in defense fire control, missile and precision-fires, C4ISR, or PNT systems
- Demonstrated systems-integration experience across hardware, software, and RF and PNT domains
- Working knowledge of the DoW acquisition lifecycle, requirements and SOW authoring, and configuration management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- TS/SCI eligibility
- Direct fire control or field artillery systems experience within the Army fires ecosystem
- Familiarity with GPS modernization and anti-jam and electronic-warfare integration
- Experience supporting test planning and vendor and cost coordination
- Prior SETA or prime-contractor technical-liaison experience supporting a program office
- Software development and integration background sufficient to distinguish embedded and software changes from system-level changes
