Job Summary
Be responsible for the evolution, support and governance of Intact’s worldwide network and its security, with a strong focus on automation. Collaborate with peers to ensure smooth operation of network infrastructure, coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems, assess vulnerabilities and implement vendor-recommended solutions. Implement and support LAN/WAN, switching/routing, load balancing, and data center infrastructure (including Cisco ACI, Netscaler). Ensure network engineering patterns meet SLA requirements, manage change requests, monitor performance, document network diagrams and contacts, and participate in problem management. Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7x365 coverage; overtime may be required. Requires a Degree or Diploma in Networking or Technology and at least 5 years IP-based experience; bilingualism is required for interactions with English-speaking colleagues across the country (Quebec): role based in Montréal and Toronto, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Networking or Technology
- 5 year experience in IP-based environment
- Hands-on experience with network hardware, software, LAN/WAN and data center infrastructures
- Good understanding of TCP/IP (BGP, EIGRP, MPLS)
- Medium level knowledge of network administration, architecture, and engineering in mission critical environments
- Bilingualism for Quebec lokasi interactions
