Job Summary
Architect network solutions based on analysis of business requirements, participate in design discussions and author design notes; plan, analyze designs, develop, test, and ensure quality assurance; lead projects of moderate scope or phases of larger projects; define and maintain physical network architecture and infrastructure; analyze workload and monitor performance; configure, implement, integrate, maintain, and administer network systems including data, voice, and video communications; troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex problems; install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software; provide guidance to network personnel and transfer knowledge of technologies; contribute to and lead projects, conduct vendor negotiations for major purchases; onsite role at Batavia office; adhere to EH&S regulations; participate in pre-employment screenings and security clearances; commitment to equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with 8+ years of networking experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 6+ years of network design experience preferred
- Professional Level Cisco certifications or equivalent highly desired
- Experience as a network engineer or analyst operating and supporting small to middle-size networks
- Knowledge of data communication and computer networks, network protocols, mathematics, computers, electronics, programming, and design techniques
