Job Summary
Design and support complex networks across multiple locations for the ALTESS Windows team, managing deployments of MS Windows servers, SQL, VMware, and Oracle systems. Lead strategies to maintain, troubleshoot, and implement new network solutions while creating technical instructions and operating procedures. Monitor system performance, harden infrastructure, and generate security status reports to recommend improvements and manage vendor equipment lifecycle. Configure Cisco technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and automation tools to expand efficiency, ensuring compliance with STIGs and disaster recovery protocols. Requires DoD Secret clearance and three years of experience in network design and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+
- Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.)
- Experience in Computer Science or IT
- Minimum three years' experience designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining complex networking solutions
- Minimum three years' experience configuring, updating, maintaining, administering, and migrating Palo Alto Firewalls
- Minimum three years' experience with Network Management, Analysis, and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Palo Alto Panorama, Men and Mice, etc
- Minimum five years' experience configuring, updating, maintaining, and administering the following Cisco technologies: Cisco Nexus (9K, 7K, 5K, and 2K), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Aggregation Services Router (ASR) and Integrated Services Router (ISR) routers, and Cisco Firepower
- Minimum three years' experience or working knowledge of SW Defined Networking
- Minimum three years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience
- Three or more years' experience in automation and scripting with Python, Pearl, TCL, or Ansible
- Three or more years' experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCA-V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA)
- Enterprise Resource Planning Support Lead (Program Manager – Intermediate)

- Must possess an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
