Job Summary
Senior Network Administrator responsible for Cisco infrastructure, Cisco WAN, LAN, VoIP, VPN, WLAN; install, configure, test and administer switches, routers, network appliances, load balancers, and other network equipment to meet office-location requirements; ensure network reliability across multiple office locations 24/7; perform onsite analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex network problems; create, document, implement and maintain network architecture configurations and processes; maintain network systems with onsite and remote diagnosis and address vulnerabilities and failures; monitor network performance and provide status reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full-time LAN/WAN planning, design, configuration, installation, implementation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management; or
- Four-year high school diploma or educational equivalent and six years of satisfactory full-time information technology experience including at least 2 years in LAN/WAN planning, design, configuration, installation, implementation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, and security management; or
- A satisfactory equivalent of education and/or experience to the above. Education may be substituted for experience: 30 undergraduate credits = 6 months; master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience; at least one year of full-time IT experience as described above.
