Job Summary
Architect, build, and sustain networks to support national defense by collaborating with mission operators and commanders across the system life cycle. Resolve interoperability issues across platforms and support hardware/software acquisition while sharing expertise during planning, configuration, and maintenance. Apply SDN technologies like SD-Access and NSX-T alongside Python automation, Ansible, and RESTCONF to develop cutting-edge solutions spanning Cloud to Physical layers. Utilize JSON, YAML, and YANG for configuration modeling while leveraging CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaaS/PaaS infrastructure. Maintain network resiliency and performance through rigorous troubleshooting and agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; ability to obtain a security clearance
- Experience with SDN Technologies including SD-Access, NSX-T, Velocloud, or VX-LAN
- Experience in Network Automation in Python, Ansible, NETCONF, or RESTCONF
- Experience in Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge of Networking principles and concepts
- Knowledge of data center fabric solutions
- HS Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with telecommunications or Bachelor's degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in modeling network configuration in JSON, YAML, or YANG
- Experience in working with CI/CD tools, including GIT and Jenkins
- Experienced in troubleshooting via tools and scripts
- Experience in working with Open source software and libraries
- Experience with deploying IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Network, Storage, and Backup
- Knowledge of Cisco ACI
- Knowledge of API design and Object-Oriented principles
- CCNA or CCNP Certification
