Job Summary
Senior NDE Tech responsible for ADVANCE UT & Conventional NDE. Key duties include obtaining MUT/PAUT/ToFD L-II approvals from clients by demonstrating proficiency, applying knowledge of international codes (ASME, AWS D.1, B31.3, API 1104, ISO), supporting NDE Engineer (ADVANCE UT/L-III) with calibration and demonstrations, maintaining equipment inventory, independently performing allocated NDE tasks, setting up NDE examinations, reviewing raw data, preparing advance inspection reports, and coordinating with clients and department head for smooth project progress.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years total experience in NDE
- PAUT L-II qualification 2+ years
- PCN UT 5+ years L-II
- hands-on experience in Manual UT and PAUT
- experience with CS, SS, LTCS, P11 material, Inconel, nickel-alloy
- ability to approve MUT/PAUT/ToFD/L-II from client/end user
- knowledge of ASME, AWS D.1, B31.3, API 1104, ISO codes
- setup NDE examinations and prepare advance inspection reports
- liaise with client and NDE Engineer for progress
