Job Summary
Review customer specifications, P&ID's, and tender documents to prepare comprehensive proposals. Select optimal centrifugal pump configurations using proprietary software tools and generate scope of supply documentation. Interface with external vendors for auxiliary equipment quotes and manage orders from quote to delivery. Provide technical support to distributors and customers, responding to inquiries promptly while participating in sales calls and pre-award meetings. Serve as a liaison between client contacts and internal operations teams to resolve issues and support strategy. This role resides in Houston, TX; Colfax, NC; or Chicago, IL, with remote options available. The position supports ITT's municipal business segment, focusing on water and wastewater solutions within the Flow Technologies division.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field
- 10+ Years experience with rotating equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps
- Familiarity with generating technical quotations and processing customer orders
- Proficiency with MS Office and pump selection software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with a customer-focused approach
- Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks with quick turnaround requirements
- Must reside in Houston, TX; Colfax, North Carolina; or Chicago, Illinois

Desired Qualifications
- Preference for candidates with experience in the municipal water/wastewater market
- Knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems
- Knowledge of typical municipal tender process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
