Job Summary
Senior MRB Engineer responsible for managing disposition of nonconformances and leading MRB activities on the Fury Team in Columbus, OH. You will review NCRs, provide dispositions for minor variance conditions on aircraft and components, coordinate with vendor design authorities, own the MRB process for production escapes, conduct root cause analyses, support investigations to resolve quality issues impacting production, collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on inspection and repair methods, maintain accurate nonconformance records, and present reports on trends and metrics. The role requires strong MRB knowledge, quality management system experience (AS9100/ISO9001), excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance. Preferred experience includes previous MRB experience, aircraft production line work, and understanding of stress analysis techniques. Salary range US: $113,000–$149,000 USD; full-time opportunities with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering roles, preferably within an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment
- Excellent understanding of MRB processes and nonconformance management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001)
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques and quality improvement methodologies
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
