Senior Motion Designer (2/3 Months engagement) - Advertising

Job Summary
Create 2D motion design and animation for social media, digital advertising, video, banners, UI elements, and interactive experiences. Edit video by combining animation, sound, music, and visual elements into polished creative deliverables. Develop motion concepts and translate creative ideas into engaging visual experiences while adapting existing assets to maintain brand consistency. Work from concept through final production and delivery, collaborating with designers, creatives, and stakeholders to refine ideas and present clear creative decisions. Manage multiple deliverables and priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, incorporating feedback effectively. This short-term engagement spans 2–3 months for a globally recognized creative agency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Motion Design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 2D motion design and animation across advertising, social media, video, digital campaigns, banners, or similar content
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong understanding of design principles, animation, timing, composition, and visual storytelling
- Experience working with existing creative assets and adapting them for different formats while maintaining visual and brand consistency
- Experience combining motion, video, sound, and music into cohesive creative deliverables
- Ability to work independently, make informed creative decisions, and execute projects with limited direction
- Strong understanding of how motion and visual design translate across web, mobile web, mobile applications, interactive experiences, and other digital environments
- Ability to approach visual problems holistically and develop scalable motion or design systems when needed
- Strong aesthetic judgment and attention to visual detail
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and responding constructively to feedback
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Advanced English proficiency
- LATAM based
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 3D motion design or animation
- Familiarity with UI/UX animation and prototyping
- Experience working in advertising, creative agencies, or brand environments
- Familiarity with emerging motion design tools and workflows, including AI-assisted creative tools
