Job Summary
Senior mortgage operations and credit manager overseeing end-to-end loan processing from enquiry to settlement in a fully remote, contractor capacity. Responsible for evaluating residential/commercial lending scenarios, managing lender relationships, driving applications through the pipeline, and ensuring momentum across multiple deals. Leads credit analysis, deal assessment, risk identification, and optimal deal structuring while coordinating with clients, brokers, lenders, and internal support staff. Builds and maintains strong lender relationships, mentors administrative support, and contributes to SOPs and operational improvements to scale the mortgage operations function.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Mortgage broking, Credit analysis, Lending operations, Loan processing, Mortgage settlements
- Strong understanding of Australian lending landscape, Credit assessment, Serviceability calculations, Lender policies, Complex lending scenarios
- Experience handling complex deals and non-standard lending scenarios
- Experience communicating directly with lenders and financial institutions
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills
- High attention to detail and operational accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Technical & Systems Experience: Infynity CRM, Finsure, Trello, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Loan processing and document management systems, AI and productivity tools
