Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Summary
Develop and expand referral sources to solicit first mortgages, including maintaining regular contact with realtors, builders, and financial advisors. Collect and analyze applicant financial information to assess qualifications, interview customers, and recommend mortgage terms that meet their specific needs. Perform loan origination duties by obtaining financial data, completing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Follow current loans to ensure conformity with terms and communicate with customers throughout the process. Cultivate external lead sources to generate a continual stream of origination volume while engaging in persuasive sales activities to cross-promote services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 or more years recent residential mortgage lending
- 4 or more years established referral sources that are outside of branch referrals and provide a continual stream of loan originations
- 4 or more years proven ability to develop and maintain a significant amount of referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization
- This position may require incumbent to be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
