Job Summary
Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to design, implement and support Microsoft-based workplace and collaboration services. Lead the design and delivery of secure, modern workplace solutions, provide hands-on delivery, and mentor junior team members. Work across the Microsoft stack (M365, Intune, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure Virtual Desktop) to design, test, and validate solutions, maintain workplace standards and documentation, build automation artifacts to improve efficiency, and ensure security, compliance and operational standards. Engage with stakeholders across technology, security and business, contribute to architecture forums, and provide L3 support as needed. This role sits within a regulated financial services environment and requires strong design capability, delivery experience, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years IT experience
- Deep experience with Microsoft stack (M365, Intune, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure Virtual Desktop)
- Microsoft certifications (M365, Azure)
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, APRA, ASIC, GDPR
- Experience in agile delivery environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- L3 support and mentoring junior team members
