Job Summary
Analyze the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) and verify element configuration settings using Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) run data to support Missile Defense Agency Ground Test, Continuous Developmental Integration, and Flight Test events. Develop and execute Python tools for M&S analysis, ensuring data quality through validation of test results while collaborating with engineers to execute simulation campaigns. Document analytical findings and communicate results across interdisciplinary teams. Requires 10+ years of experience, Secret clearance, and 0-10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Modeling and Simulation Frameworks
- Expertise in areas of Missile Defense data analysis to include trajectory, RF/EOIR signatures, environmental effects, or tactical communications
- Familiarity with Python scripting language
- Familiarity with Linux
- Possess the ability to clearly express ideas/concepts, perform as part of a team, and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment
- Displays excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills and takes a proactive role to ensure that responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule
- Displays the ability to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel
- Possess the ability to present and explain analytical information in front of varied audiences
- BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from an accredited university
- 10+ years' experience
- Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure, including truth presentation utilizing Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) adapter, and/or Ground Test Integrated System Simulation (GTISS) adapter
- Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure truth presentation to the element models (SMHR, signatures, environment)
- Familiarity with data analysis libraries in Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with Network Systems Integration and Test Environment (NSITE)
- Familiarity with MDA Ground Test CONOPS
- Top Secret Security Clearance (Desired)
