Job Summary
Develop 3D designs, reviews 3D models, and create models using software to coordinate geometrical designs for dredging and marine projects. Review drawing specifications, determine modeling needs per construction phase, and identify interfaces, risks, and opportunities to assist with coordination. Advise design and project teams on technical aspects, create animations for process insight, and maintain a common data environment. Work within the Hydronamic team of 80 people in Papendrecht and Abu Dhabi.
Required Qualifications
- Civil Engineering, Survey or similar Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the maritime and/or dredging industry
- Knowledge of modeling software Civil3D in combination with SubAssembly Composer and Navisworks
- Knowledge of working in and maintaining a common data environment
- Knowledge of CAD - BIM standards, regulations, and guidelines
- Proficient in the English language
