Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and manage Cameo Systems Modeler digital engineering models using SysML to design system architectures, behaviors, and interfaces. Produce DoW-compliant systems engineering artifacts, including requirements decomposition, traceability matrices, and verification plans, while supporting architecture trade studies and technical reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to ensure architectural consistency and maintain bidirectional traceability between operational needs and system specifications. Participate in customer technical interchange meetings and support Digital Engineering strategy implementation across multiple programs. This role builds digital engineering capabilities from the ground up within a fast-paced, mission-focused team working on next-generation defense solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting DoW programs
- 3+ years developing MBSE models using Cameo Systems Modeler
- Experience developing SysML models including: Block Definition Diagrams (BDD), Internal Block Diagrams (IBD), Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, State Machine Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Parametric Diagrams, Requirements Diagrams
- Strong understanding of Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering principles
- Experience developing DoW systems engineering products and technical documentation
- Experience supporting the full systems engineering lifecycle
- Knowledge of requirements management and traceability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to receive & maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DoW Digital Engineering Strategy implementation
- Experience with DoDAF, UAF, or related architecture frameworks
- Familiarity with Government Reference Architectures (GRAs) or Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA)
- Experience supporting C2, sensor integration, data fusion, or weapon systems
- Experience integrating software-intensive systems across distributed architectures
- Experience with interface definition and ICD development
- Experience with simulation, modeling, or digital twins
- INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certification
- Active Secret Clearance Preferred
