Job Summary
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim standards, locating, moving, and documenting exterior, interior, and mechanical conditions while verifying VINs and mileage. Safely handle vehicles on dealer lots and perform basic powertrain and electrical checks to identify damage or missing components. Build trust with dealer clients by educating them on marketplace value and proactively engaging to increase inspection volume. Submit daily activity reports via Salesforce.com and collaborate with Wholesale Specialists to optimize territory productivity. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and the NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy while adapting to changing appointment schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes
- High School Diploma or GED
- High School Diploma/GED
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future
- Previous vehicle inspection experience
- Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical)
- 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to work 100% of the time
- Must be based out of Wichita, KS
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
