Job Summary
Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS) to join Airwallex's Payments Platform team based in Singapore. You will build the Airwallex Mobile App for global customers, spearhead the integration of 3D Secure (3DS) into core card authentication processes, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable mobile solutions. The role requires ownership of full-cycle product development, proficiency with native iOS development (SwiftUI), knowledge of iOS frameworks, REST/GraphQL APIs, and a mindset toward secure, scalable mobile software with automated CI/CD pipelines. Cross-platform experience (Android) and exposure to React Native are a plus, with an emphasis on delivering secure online payment experiences and contributing to the broader Airwallex engineering community.
Required Qualifications
- BS / MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors
- 5+ years of professional experience developing native apps in iOS (SwiftUI)
- Expert knowledge of iOS frameworks and ecosystem
- Good understanding of design patterns for mobile development
- Experience using RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Promote robust and maintainable code with high test coverage, and can maintain automation pipelines for CI/CD
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Able to communicate fluently in English
- While this position primarily focuses on iOS development, your expertise in Android is also highly regarded
