Job Summary
Senior Mobile Engineer to develop and maintain Ceresti’s caregiver-facing iOS and Android applications using Flutter and Dart; build elegant, accessible, native-feeling UI for caregivers; integrate with Go and PostgreSQL-backed APIs including secure authentication, push notifications, and real-time data sync; manage full mobile release lifecycle through TestFlight and Google Play Internal/Closed testing; implement offline-first behavior and secure local PHI storage; instrument apps for analytics, crash reporting, and performance; champion accessibility; collaborate in an Agile environment with backend, web, QA, design, product, and clinical teams; review PRs, mentor other engineers on mobile best practices, and ensure privacy and logging hygiene.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of professional mobile engineering experience with apps shipped to the App Store and Google Play
- 3+ years of hands-on Flutter / Dart experience
- Experience releasing through TestFlight and App Store Connect, and Google Play Console (internal, closed, and production tracks)
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and ability to read schemas, write queries, and debug mobile data issues end-to-end with backend
- Strong understanding of state management in Flutter (Redux) and clean architecture patterns
- Experience with mobile CI/CD, including automated builds, signing, and store uploads
- Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)
- Experience with push notifications, deep linking, in-app updates, and over-the-air configuration
- Experience instrumenting apps with tools like Sentry or Datadog
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Flutter tests, Patrol, Appium, Maestro)
- Experience using AI coding assistants to accelerate development
- Experience integrating LLM APIs into mobile experiences is a strong plus
- Healthcare or HIPAA-regulated experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
