Job Summary
Senior Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS and Android applications for Translated. Own features end-to-end from concept to release, ensure performance and reliability, and collaborate with backend teams to define APIs. Contribute to code reviews, write tests, maintain code quality and documentation, and work with product/design stakeholders to deliver user-centric mobile experiences. Opportunity to integrate AI-powered language technologies into mobile apps and continuously improve the mobile experience for translators, enterprise clients, and global users.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mobile software development
- Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android)
- Experience building and maintaining production-level mobile applications
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform guidelines
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies as part of the development workflow
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase)
- Knowledge of app store deployment processes and best practices
