Job Summary
Senior MLOps Engineer role at Filevine focused on the end-to-end ML infrastructure: evals, observability, model serving, annotation tooling, and the prompt platform to accelerate AI capabilities. Responsibilities include setting up LLM observability frameworks/tools, improving data annotation tooling, ensuring stability of LLM calls (rate limits, throughput, backups), driving security review processes for AI vendors, recommending cost optimization for LLM workloads, hosting finetuned/open weight models, assisting with LLM evaluations, and building platform tooling to enable non-technical teammates to iterate on prompts. Remote-first environment with Bratislava, Slovakia as the candidate location; contract-based engagement with compensation starting at 6,000 EUR per month and final offer based on seniority and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building and operating software systems end-to-end
- Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure: model serving, training pipelines, or LLM integrations in production
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (primarily AWS)
- Familiarity with observability tooling and cost management for LLM workloads
- Experience with or openness to: Python, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Thrives in a remote-first, async environment: clear communicator, high ownership, low ego
- Bonus: experience with eval frameworks, annotation tooling, or prompt management platforms
