Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy ML models for demand forecasting, time series prediction, consumer sentiment analysis, and anomaly detection at enterprise scale. Develop and iterate on the platform's agentic AI architecture to enable systems that reason across heterogeneous data sources and take autonomous action. Build and maintain robust ML pipelines covering data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and production deployment. Architect RAG systems and LLM integrations powering natural language interfaces and autonomous workflows while collaborating with backend engineers to ensure production-grade latency and reliability. Own model performance end-to-end through monitoring, retraining, and continuous improvement in production. This on-site role is based in New York, NY, for a Series A/B AI-native startup serving major retailers and consumer brands. Candidates must hold an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field with 3+ years of hands-on ML systems architecture experience.
Required Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on, ML-focused experience (not purely software engineering with minimal ML exposure)
- 3+ years working in ML systems architecture, building and delivering production ML pipelines
- Deep proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent
- No visa sponsorship available — candidates must be independently authorized to work
- Production experience building agentic systems and harnesses
- Hands-on experience with graph databases
- Strong SQL proficiency for data querying and manipulation
- Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
- This is an on-site role based in New York, NY, USA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working at scale — large tech companies or high-growth startups with production ML systems (backgrounds from firms such as Meltwater, NielsenIQ, Qualtrics, Medallia, Kantar, or similar enterprise analytics/intelligence companies are a strong signal)
- Experience with the Go programming language
