Job Summary
Lead mixed-method user research across the mobile and privacy product spaces, developing research materials, executing studies, and turning data into actionable recommendations. Facilitate a user-centered design process, advocate for users’ needs, and leverage AI tools thoughtfully within research workflows. Partner cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, data science, and marketing to identify high-impact research opportunities and align insights to business priorities. Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research; collaborate with mixed methods and quantitative researchers to ensure research informs product strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of UX research experience in the consumer technology industry
- Experience leading both evaluative and generative research across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle
- Proficiency with a diverse set of qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, concept testing, usability studies) and quantitative approaches (e.g., survey design, data analysis)
- Strong judgment in evaluating research priorities and making trade-offs across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Deep knowledge of AI tools used in research workflows and ability to apply them responsibly and effectively
- Collaborative communicator with cross-functional partnership skills
- Experience supporting iterative, user-centered product development and ensuring research informs design and strategy
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights that shape roadmaps
