Job Summary
Assess damaged properties to determine salvageable materials, then execute water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and demolition services in accordance with IICRC industry standards. Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture monitoring devices while documenting progress through photos, sketches, and daily job notes. Supervise laborers on large projects exceeding $100k, manage containment setups, and communicate project status to customers. Drive company vehicles, maintain equipment, and participate in required training and safety meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more of IICRC Restoration Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.)
- 3 or more years as an experience Restoration Technician
- The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Valid Driver's license in good standing without restrictions
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment, materials, and debris weighing up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and other challenging environments
- Ability to work around water, mold, fire, smoke, and other property damage conditions while wearing required PPE
- Ability to operate mitigation equipment and safely handle tools and materials used in restoration work
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and job-site environments
- Ability to travel to customer locations and respond to emergency service calls as needed
