Job Summary
Lead mission planning, design, and operational analysis for LEO and MEO satellite missions while developing automated operations and mission workflows. Define space and ground segment architecture, collaborate with flight software teams, and maintain satellite database operations and telemetry management concepts. Create models and simulation tools using MATLAB, AGI STK, and Python to evaluate mission performance and operational readiness. Provide technical leadership and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires immediate start, hybrid/remote work with mandatory one-week monthly on-site presence in Montreal, and Controlled Goods Program clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain or hold Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

- Candidates working remotely or in a hybrid capacity must be willing to travel and work on-site in Montreal for at least one week per month.
- Must be willing to work on-site at least one week per month.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with mission design and analysis for LEO and/or MEO satellite systems.
- Experience with automated satellite operations, particularly mission and operational design.
- Strong systems engineering experience in: Space and ground segment design, specification, and integration
- Strong systems engineering experience in: Flight software and its role in mission operations
- Strong systems engineering experience in: Satellite database operations
- Strong systems engineering experience in: Telemetry structures and operational concepts
- Experience creating or utilizing models and simulation software.
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
- Working knowledge of MATLAB.
- Experience using AGI Systems Tool Kit (STK).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading mission planning and operations for complex satellite programs.
- Experience supporting end-to-end satellite mission design, analysis, and operations.
- Familiarity with commercial or government aerospace and space programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical mentoring skills.
