Job Summary
As a Senior Mission Assurance Engineer, you will provide extensive expertise in High Reliability, Military and Space Level Components-Reliability-Survivability Engineering Activities. Responsibilities include performing space environment and reliability modeling and analysis, selecting electronic components for orbital environments, and supporting Survivability/Reliability Analysis. You will manage component procurement specifications, conduct Radiation Effects Analysis, and ensure compliance with program Survivability Requirements, as well as prepare standard documentation related to materials and parts usage.
Required Qualifications
- BS Field of Study in Physics, Reliability, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
- Extensive work as a Space Environments/Survivability/Reliability Engineer in High Reliability, Military and Space Flight Environments
- Knowledge of Mission Assurance methodology for the Space Environment including Components and Materials Application strategy for High Reliability
- Knowledge of EEEE device types and operation in Space Environments
- Experience using EEEE parts and Materials control plans and part/item specifications/data sheets
- Knowledge of Government, Industry specs and standards (MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-1547, MIL-HDBK-814, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in U.S. Government defense industry or other highly regulated industries
- Project leadership, presentation and decision-making skills
Additional Requirements
- The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
