Senior Mine Rescue Advisor

Senior Mine Rescue Advisor – Underground to support emergency response capability and preparedness within our underground mining operations. Reporting to the Underground HSE Manager, this role involves ensuring compliance with HSE standards and MSHA regulations, leading and coordinating Emergency Response Team (ERT) training across hazard-based areas (medical, fire, hazmat, confined space, underground rescue), developing and maintaining emergency and business resilience plans, maintaining and inspecting emergency response equipment, planning and executing drills and audits, and providing leadership during emergencies while coordinating with external response agencies. Ideal candidates will have MSHA 40-hour certification and MSHA Blue Card (underground), Current BLS CPR/AED and First Aid, and a minimum of 5 years’ underground emergency response experience, with strong training delivery, teamwork, and computer skills (MS Office). The role is open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered. Location: Kennecott Mine near Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
