Job Summary
Senior Middleware Engineer to lead and manage the data integration ecosystem. Design and configure distributed middleware using MuleSoft Anypoint, Axway MFT, and Next Axiom; translate business requirements into scalable API solutions; modernize and optimize middleware; lead incident response, troubleshooting, and patching; build and manage CI/CD pipelines; ensure security, logging, auditing, and policy compliance; mentor teams and align development with architectural direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with senior-level design capabilities
- 3+ years of experience with Anypoint Platform (MuleSoft), Axway MFT, and API Management
- SOA & Web Services: XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, RESTful standards
- Database Programming: JDBC and relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle
- Experience with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall delivery models, as well as Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Languages: Java and Groovy
- Version Control: BitBucket/Git, SVN, or TFS
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible, SharePoint, and server architecture configuration
- Core competencies: Collaborative leadership, problem-solving, communication
