Job Summary
Lead contractor systems engineering activities by supervising project staff, independently making decisions on engineering issues and methodology, and proposing appropriate standards and processes. Develop and approve delivery of work products across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including System Engineering Plans and Requirements specifications. Analyze technical alternatives, coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board and design reviews, and manage system requirements to ensure compatibility with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework. Brief stakeholders on technical project status and assist in developing innovative approaches to technical challenges. Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline
- At least 15 years of systems engineering experience
- Master's degree or PhD (substitutable for two years of experience)
- High school diploma or GED (substitutable for 19 years of systems engineering experience)
- TS/SCI clearance
- Polygraph eligibility
