Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer - Second Shift

Job Summary
Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer responsible for responding to level two issues that arise from the Network Operations Center or service desk, with a focus on M365 Security. Proactively collaborate with senior members of the managed services practice to support a portfolio of clients across North America, handling incident resolution and escalations within an MSP environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting advanced issues, providing solution options, escalating within the M365 tenant, conducting proactive performance assessments, maintaining knowledge base articles, coordinating with peers, participating in on-call rotations, and accommodating after-hours/weekend work. Requires hands-on experience across Entra ID, Defender, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive, plus scripting skills (PowerShell/VBScript) and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of technical support and/or design and implementation experience with Microsoft 365 Collaboration technologies for a Managed Services Provider
- Entra ID (Conditional Access Policies, MFA, Privileged Identity Management)
- Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Policies, XDR, Cloud workload protections, DLP Policies)
- Microsoft Exchange Online (Online Protection)
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft OneDrive for Business
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud solutions
- Microsoft 365 management and administration
- Scripting for automation (PowerShell, VBScript)
- At least one of the following certifications: MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, SC-900
