Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for managing and evolving Microsoft Exchange (on-premises) and Exchange Online in a global core infrastructure, focusing on messaging reliability, secure mail flow, and hybrid configurations. Responsibilities include administering Exchange, mail flow design, mailbox migrations and coexistence, implementing security controls (anti-spam, anti-phishing, encryption), supporting Active Directory/Entra ID and Windows Server, VMware and Microsoft 365 services, contributing to disaster recovery and ongoing operations, driving automation and monitoring improvements, providing SME leadership and mentorship, and shaping architecture, design decisions, and roadmaps for cloud transformation. Roles based in London or Geneva with a global team focus.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premises) and Exchange Online
- Experience designing and maintaining hybrid configurations
- Mailbox migrations and coexistence strategies
- Messaging security (anti-spam, anti-phishing, encryption)
- PowerShell and automation
- Active Directory/Entra ID (Azure AD) and Windows Server administration
- VMware/vSphere infrastructure familiarity
- Microsoft 365 services related to messaging and collaboration
- Backup, DR, and monitoring knowledge
