Senior Merchandiser

Job Summary
Coordinate all operational activities from proto sample development, costing, production tracking, and WIP updates to ensure on-time delivery. Manage the end-to-end product development process, including fabric and trim development, sampling approvals, and quality submissions. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales while identifying and resolving production problems. Liaise with QA departments and factory management to monitor inspections, maintain compliance documentation, and execute corrective action plans. Track critical paths, forecast delays, and present alternative solutions to buyers and line seniors. Communicate order details and requirements to suppliers to control the pre- and post-order placement process, ensuring quantity, quality, and delivery dates are achieved.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years working experience in merchandising
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
- Professional qualification in related field
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel
- Fluent in: English
- Frequency of Travel: As required
