Job Summary
Senior Merchandise Manager leads category performance for assigned product areas, driving sales growth, margin improvement, inventory productivity, and overall financial performance across all sales channels. Develops and executes customer-focused merchandising strategies to support short-term objectives and long-term growth, utilizes data analysis and market insights to optimize assortments and SKU productivity, partners with Procurement and Sourcing to align assortment strategies and supplier partnerships, identifies gaps and opportunities, maintains channel-specific plans, analyzes performance and inventory trends to support allocations, conducts market and competitive analysis for pricing, promotions, and product innovation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to drive category growth and deliver insights to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, category management, product management, or planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools, including Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools preferred
- An understanding of multi-level distribution networks is preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working with confidential business and financial data
