Job Summary
Lead commercial and cost management for major building services and infrastructure projects in the aviation sector, acting on behalf of the Contracting Entity. Control project expenditure, ensure contractual compliance, and manage programme-wide cost strategies including variations, change control, and monthly cashflow forecasting. Mentor Intermediate Quantity Surveyors, review contractor KPIs, and support dispute resolution and claims negotiations. Develop cost management procedures, approve final accounts, and provide commercial advice on NEC Suite contracts. Monitor expenditure against budgets, drive value-for-money outcomes through procurement support, and establish escalation pathways for commercial matters. Work three days onsite in Dublin with two days remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or subcontractor role
- Experience delivering projects within the aviation sector or other similarly constrained or operationally complex environments
- Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
- Professionally Qualified – On the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland and preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI
- Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
