Senior MEP Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary
Lead the full preconstruction process including estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, and value analysis while providing accurate conceptual and detailed estimates. Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and partners to support business development and repeat work. Manage RFP responses, proposal development, and interview preparation with tailored schedules and sales materials. Identify and mitigate project risks through contract language analysis and market condition assessments. Integrate sustainability and technology strategies like BIM and LEED to enhance project delivery. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely input and alignment across all preconstruction activities. Ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to construction by participating in handoff, reporting, and operations meetings. Lead client presentations on building systems, estimates, logistics, and value engineering. Support subcontractor/vendor prequalification and coordinate specialty cost inputs. Requires 6+ years of estimating or project management experience and proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and other job-related software.
