Job Summary
Direct overall planning of construction activities for large entertainment projects exceeding $150 million in installed cost. Determine budget estimates, staffing requirements, and subcontractor availability to maximize efficiency. Establish assignments for Construction Superintendents, monitor progress, and resolve schedule slippage or budget overruns. Manage manpower, materials, and equipment while ensuring quality control and implementing client policies. Serve as the primary contact with clients, subcontractors, and government representatives. Prepare periodic progress reports for management and maintain strong community relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction related field (or equivalent construction related work experience)
- minimum 15+ years of direct experience in the construction of large concrete and steel frame structures through to finishes/fit out
- A track record with PMC and Main Contractors
- widely diversified knowledge of construction related processes and industry practices
- Demonstrated effective managerial capability on construction projects of comparable scope and complexity
- excellent written and oral communications skills
- Willingness to relocate to construction site locations
Desired Qualifications
- as well as a minimum 15+ years of direct experience in the construction of large concrete and steel frame structures through to finishes/fit out would be ideal
- A track record with PMC and Main Contractors would be a suitable background
- Requirements for widely diversified knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction
