Job Summary
Senior Mental Health Co-Responder provides crisis intervention and on-scene stabilization for campus communities in partnership with University Police Department and University Health Services. Responsibilities include risk assessments for harm to self or others, referrals to mental health treatment programs, and ongoing case management; may provide trauma-informed training and consultation on mental health topics to police officers and staff. Works field-based with supervision possible for clinical staff and graduate trainees, coordinating with UPD, UHS, and other campus departments. The role involves educational programming and campus outreach and operates as a field-based position with remote officeing within the UPD headquarters.
