Job Summary
Interview and assist members with applications for memberships, shares, loans, and junior real estate. Calculate terms, finance charges, and insurance rates for proper disclosure on promissory notes. Gather required information to gain loan approval within limits of loan authority, then disburse loans promptly and accurately. Close loan applications in accordance with Credit Union policies, prepare miscellaneous documents and reports, and maintain related records. Ensure all services are legally compliant, properly document service requests, and identify cross-sell opportunities. Requires high school diploma, 1-3 years of relevant experience, and strong telephone etiquette.
