Job Summary
Senior/Medical Science Liaison for PAH across Northern California, Arizona, and Nevada. Primary field-based liaison to current and future clinical investigators, speakers, and other healthcare providers on clinical and scientific issues; mentor/train junior MSLs; lead key Medical Affairs projects; respond to unsolicited information requests while adhering to company policy; establish and maintain relationships with PAH centers and internal departments; provide medical training and support to internal stakeholders; manage project work within Medical Affairs; contribute to departmental infrastructure (e.g., SOPs); requires significant travel (up to 80%) and remote work within the specified states. Location is remote within the United States with preference for candidates in CA, AZ, or NV. Salary range: $140,000–$220,000 plus incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry (or appropriate clinical setting) with a Master’s Degree in life sciences or relevant field (e.g., NP, PA) or 2+ years with PharmD, PhD, or MD and 3+ years of clinical experience in cardiovascular, respiratory, pulmonary or relevant disease state(s)
- 1+ years as a Medical Science Liaison or equivalent combination of clinical and MSL experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey scientific information to diverse audiences; strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in life sciences or relevant field
