Job Summary
Build and maintain advocacy with key opinion leaders, clinical sites, and internal stakeholders to support Replimune clinical development initiatives. Identify national and regional oncology thought leaders as primary scientific contacts, coordinate investigator-sponsored studies, and manage relationships between key opinion leaders and corporate product teams. Accumulate competitive intelligence, develop key advocates as speakers, and contribute clinical resources to commercial educational activities. Represent the company at major oncology meetings and conferences while delivering scientific presentations to payor groups and advisory boards. Maintain clinical expertise through literature review and scientific meetings, lead assigned projects within the MSL organization, and deliver updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous MSL experience in the therapeutic area of interest
- Strong project leadership and management history
- Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to compile and disseminate information to others in a cohesive fashion to assure a clear understanding of project status and direction
- Solid understanding of drug development and life-cycle development of a product
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with thought leaders and to establish trust through the consistent demonstration of scientific expertise and satisfactory follow-through to requests from thought-leaders
- Ability to work effectively with key decision makers, both within and outside the Company
- Excellent communicator, skilled at diplomacy and capable of effectively combining science and relationship building
- Ability to understand and translate external customer and/or internal client needs into effective decisions and to drive results and strive for continuous improvement with high performance in the face of adversity
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Advanced degree in medical science (MD, PharmD, or PhD)
- Candidates without an advanced degree are required to have at least 1 year of industry MSL experience in the therapeutic area, and 2-5 years overall related experience
- Candidates with a Nurse Practitioner level degree or equivalent and 5+ years of clinical or industry experience in oncology may also be considered
- Patient care clinical experience in the therapeutic area (including sub-specialty)
- Leadership experience (with direct reports or as an individual contributor)
